Happy Birthday to Me! (well, my blog)
Worth Reading, Worth Sharing celebrated it’s first birthday last week and I totally missed it. Probably because I was too busy reading, or planning Book Week events, or raving about a book to a student. I am very happy to say that year has passed very quickly and has been full of fun, challenges and amazing books. I look forward to the next 12 months of WRWS with excitement and the promise to you, dear readers and followers, of more reviews; NO spoilers; and perhaps a little more sharing of my thoughts and ideas about kids, reading and literature in general. Thank you for retweeting reviews you like, for commenting and for making me take this blog seriously. When you know people (real, actual people) are reading your reviews, you reflect and think much harder about what you are doing, and that’s fantastic. I think I am getting better at it. I plan to have fun finding out if that’s true!
Welcome to Worth Reading? Worth Sharing!
This is my first attempt at a review site. As I read and review books, from a number of sources and genres, I will post here, on my LibraryThing (sueo23) and also on Good Reads as well. Hopefully between them all people will find interesting and helpful content about new (and not so new) releases.
Stay tuned….First review posted soon.
